'litter' as the title suggests, is full of snippets and treasures that would usually be discarded and forgotten about. This album was so down the line 50-50 with Laura and I working non-stop for about two weeks, just throwing a lot of tracks together. Forty to fifty tracks were recorded but they were cut down to twenty two. The album artwork features a multitude of bin photographs that were taken over a period of around four months. I had also collected thousands of 'Keep your country tidy' cuttings from crisp and chocolate wrappings as well as the 'litter-man' symbols which were to feature. The idea was later rejected.
