I'm currently looking for acts to play some shows over the summer in the Rosetta. Ideally i'm looking to book some established acts who are sure to pull in 50+ people, genre is pretty much irrelevent but if we could get some rock, punk, metal, blues, cover bands, tribute acts, etc. to play that would be great, just to mix things up a bit :)
I'd also like to hear from newer bands to for possible support slots.
And to settle any worries about the P.A. situation in the venue I'd like to reassure you that we have a lot of new equipment, a new desk and a group of excellent sound engineers working with us. The last few gigs in the place the sound has been astonishing in my opinion.
Anyone interested please P.M. me or E-Mail email@example.com & I'll get back to you with a list of possible dates.
Hey we're a Young band with a short set prepared and we would love to get some gigs going ovver Summer..
We would do really well as openers I believe and we would do absolutely 100% do our part to advertise the gig, not only for ourselves but also for the other support acts and hheadliners. Please pm me for further talks.
Many thanks - Shred.

Obviously wee'd be up for this, as you probably are well aware! give me or boydy a shout
aye the rosies a great venue with a proper stage for bill to fall off!im glad the PA is sorted out.i think with proper advertising, regular events and a few drinks promos etc the place will be rockin again.christ its only a few miles outta town so i dnt see any probs.(i live 40 bloody miles away ffs!).great stage, great staff...get it on!:035:
Ah the glory days of the Rosetta in the late 80's. You could have put a frog farting the Spanish national anthem on that stage and still draw 200+ on any Saturday night. Right where's me pipe and slippers.
Wow, wasn't expecting so much of a response! To anyone who's contacted me and recieved no reply, just hang in there, i'll be in touch within the next couple of days, i've have a backlog of E-Mails and PM's still to reply to.
Durty Rocker & scumbag, i've seen bands pulling 100+ in to the place more and more over the past two years, and I think, like someone said with the right advertising, good, well thought out line ups and a little luck this run of gigs im putting on over the summer might go pretty well, especially if I can secure some of the more established local acts as headliners. If hardly anyone turns up then bands are still getting the chance to play to a few new ears in a top class venue.
Regards to getting paid, we're all pretty much aware how little money there is in smaller sized rock gigs. Basaically the more people show up the more the bands are gonna get. in my (very limited) experience of promoting and playing gigs, once sound engineers are paid & advertising costs are covered there's often little left but a few crumpled notes for the bands. I don't really like talking about money publicly as thats basically between the promoters and the bands. If there's an amount a band wouldn't play for less than, i'm sure they will let me know!
