I assume with an asking price of two and a half grand you can prove authenticity on the signature?

A wee polish wouldn't kill it.

i dont have a certificate to prove its authenticity. i bought it of a friend who bought it back in 2004, a few months before dimebag died. it was bought from an american music shop who got dimebag to sign a couple of these guitars which they had in storage.
i was with him when he placed the order for it. there was pictures and a video of dimebag signing the guitars, which i cannot find as the company has closed.
i know the guitar has been signed by dimebag, you'l just have to trust me.

You'd be better sticking it on eBay but, to be honest, no one is ever going to buy it without some kind of a photograph or certificate.

you must excuse this Feugo chap he seems to go round picking holes in everyones posts. its a trend. i as a liar apparently as i was trading a guitar he was an expert on. i finally got it traded on here for a fender 2005 highway 1 usa strat and the guy that traded it was delighted with the wee guitar he got in return but this boyo knows better. he trawls fastfude market and tries to uphold the law of selling in his own twisted way. Whatever turns you on i suppose.

Im sure your guitar was signed by dimebag it looks like a real nice rare to own instrument and again without him chipping in with sarky comments i have always said no matter how much peolpe are asking its up to the BUYER to determine if its too dear and or too cheap. IF YOU DONT LIKE IT YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY IT.
People arent thick and nor do they need the David Dickinson of the guitar world chirping into posts every 5 mins.

    Wise the bap a bit.

sorry bro, but is it [i:0fb77907fe]this[/i:0fb77907fe] model?

again the easy thing done is just not to comment and not buy it.

    it takes no effort.

What you're missing (typically) is the community aspect. Among the reasons people might make critical or questioning posts are "Look, mate, you're being a bit unrealistic here." and "Hey everybody, I don't think this is kosher." This is members looking out for each other and not just themseleves, in both cases.

I'd be very grateful if somebody drew my attention to information that saved me from making an expensive mistake.

(Not that I'd consider paying the price of a small car for a very average guitar, even if it was signed by God.)

Hi Ryan, lovely to hear from you.

Just in answer to your articulate post. The reason I get involved in your threads is simple. You are a fucking liar.
You have lied for years about the gear you sell, where it came from, who owned it and the reasons for selling. You have been at this on local forums for years. It normally ends in you being asked to fuck off by the site admins and owners after you get caught red handed. You have the nerve to question people who critise you for being the liar you most definetly are. Wise up. anyone who should look through your previous posts and more recently your PRS thread (which was a cracker by the way) can see for themselves the way you operate.

I only get involved in threads where people are proven liars, hence your threads are the only i get involved in. This thread is worth a post of two as noone is gonna chuck 2.5 k based on a signature with no authenticity.

As long as you are selling and trading Ryan on local forums, I will always be interested in your threads, cos you cannot be trusted and anyone entering a deal with you should be made aware of that.

Thats fair enough lad, best advice is to set a realistic price and you may get a taker.
