In April 2005 ‘the Beat Poets’ were formed. Recording has just been completed on two white label promo singles due for release later this month: ‘Staring Stars Down’ and ‘Bloodline’. Samples of these tracks can now be heard at http://www.myspace.com/beatpoets
All comments appreciated.

Also next month the www.thebeatpoets.com will be launched and contain full details of the bands up and coming gig schedule, pics, and news.

Are you guys from NI? Its just that theres a band in Wigan called that as well, supposed to be pretty good in a sonic youth we like to swap our instruments round and make a din way.

Nah, we're a rock band from N.I. with a bass player from Dublin.

Full streaming versions of the white label singles are still

Is The Beat Poets just the new name for Elation?

If so, Elation was a better name in my opinion

Have to say i'd agree with Morph, Elation was a better name, not that the the beat poets is kack or anything.
We played with you guys numerous times in the Empire (SOUNDSTONE), enjoyed the new tracks.
Where did you record, have you any gig listings? Edited by: fuzzibass at: 11/5/05 2:10 pm
