Great gig in Auntie Annies last night.. managed to catch A Plastic Rose in the speakeasy after our gig.. they were absolutely fantastic.

The Cutaways EP launch went really well too, great turnout as well.

    How did the others go?

Pavilion was great - 10 Gallon Hat, Jackson Cage and Swanee River kicked the $hit out things

The poets were good too :)

All great on the Radar front.

Big crowd, and A Plastic Rose looked great up there headlining it all. Stage looked excellent with there cheap ass art!!

I had a jolly old time playing my wee set at the Pavilion last night. Thanks for having me! My first two tunes were possibly a bit too long and my last tune was apparently a bit too 'chilled', but I noticed a few heads bopping and grins all around.

A success, considering the majority of the crowd were there for 'ROCK AND/OR ROLL', not dancey drum n bass / beat type shenanigans...

Four excellent bands from all corners of Ireland at Oxjam: Sparks Fly, Pocket Promise, My OK Hotel, and The Good Fight off the television

For my own taste, my favourite on the night would probably be Pocket Promise, but it's a tough call.

From the point of view of soundman and bands, the PA in McHugh's is now greatly improved, with a digital crossover and 3 amps. A recommended venue if you get the chance to play it.

For me, MY OK Hotel just lifted the lid off the place last night, given that they went to such lengths to get there thay deserve the gold star for the night...

Twas a great wee gig and raised a fair few quid for a great cause!

Absolutely, I really enjoyed your set it sounded class, a nice surprise in the middle of the 60s/70s retro rock fest that was going on last night. Nice costume changes too... :D

Have to say every band was on great form. Swannee River and Ten Gallon Hat were outstanding as was Edelle's set (her duets with Dec on the Johnny Cash tunes we cover are always a joy to play).

    Great night all round.

Sounds like all gigs were rammed. Belfast has prove to me yet again that I made the right decision coming here to start the band. Heard the Rupture Dogs and Tapasia gig was kick ass. Our support bands were amazing too The Dead Flags and Disconnect 4 check em out.

Oh, I also lived out a childhood dream and stage dived into the crowd at the end of the set. You gotta give it a go at least once and luckily I was caught by the crowd and placed gently back onto the stage. Thanks for that whoever you are :)

    It was me!

    You're remarkably light :)

Cutaways EP launch in the Empire was a great night too...with three guest appearances none the less, with Deablo, El Loco Aves and Cutaways (as featured in the video for Lovers are Lunatics) all performing on stage!

High hopes for these guys and it was great to see so much support for them...

Jebus! Were you inspecting our stuff? Darzo has done a cracking job, reusing equipment we already had. PA sounds sweet, ta for the shout.

Free room hire available Sun, Mon, Wed, some Thursdays for bands. < /cheap_plug>
