A few people have said to me that they can't use fastfude cause the font is too small on their computers.
I was using a computer in the Nerve Centre a few days ago and it turns out, noone in the building can use the site cause the font shows as Veranda 6pt, which is illegible. I tried to change the text size to 'largest' but to no avail. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Oh yeah, they use Macs in the Nerve Centre.

Yeah - on Macs it's a nightmare.
I have no idea why.
It's to do with the Arial font on the Mac version of IE. Microsoft didn't spend as much time on the font as they should have on Mac IE, probably deliberately as it's one of the most widely used fonts on the net.
You should download a newer version of the ARIAL font from http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fontpack/ it's near the bottom of the page.
If you're using Netscape and getting the same font problem then you need to download the latest (or at least a newer) version of Netscape from http://www.netscape.com . It has a bug with the Arial font as well.
It seems to be an anti-Macintosh conspiracy...........
Now you can get all the Macs in the Nerve Centre to view FF
Not sure how to install the font once it's downloaded, I think this is fiddly on Mac OS. Maybe somebody else can clarify it.
drag the suitcase file into the fonts folder, which is in your system folder! tada! same as PC really.
anyhoo, I run IE5.1/OS9.2 on my G4 in work and FF looks exactly the same as it does on my PC? *shrugs*
The only Mac related problem I have is with the gigs page.
I use OS X and Omniweb at home and the table doesn't display properly - the spacing is all wrong.
can y'all take some screenshats so I can see the prablems in 't flesh please? ta
