okay, it seems to be werking properly now (made a whoopise to do with JS arrays starting at zero, not one, which meant Sunday didn't exist. fixed)
I need content for it, boys and girls. Anyone with knowledge of a weekly event that relates to the music scene, gimme the details and I'll pop it on!
what about a pub quiz?
ready steady lounge,
upstairs @ the four in hand,
free entry, prizes galore.
yep, good start, keep 'em coming
where is young peedy que to give details of the 'listen' club?
and what about adding a wee section to the 'happenings' where local bands/artists releases are detailed?
obviously though you'd need details a few weeks in advance, but bands usually know when their releases are coming out, so the only problem would be getting them to tell you on time.
and of course, actually sticking the data in!
Roger, ya need to change the happpenings for Ready, Steady, Lounge.
It is a PUB QUIZ and not a CLUB... mercy buckets!
Aren't pub quizzeszsz clubs too? I dunno. Okay.
Shouldn't it list the Johnny Hero show on Tuesday nights on Downtown?
prob'ly. what're the details, cat boy?
Och ya'll, but ya didn't want people turning up asking "Where's the pumpin' tekkkno leek!?!?"
@#%$, you mean there's no pumpkin teckkkkno? I'm goin' home.
Starting this Friday, upstairs in The Bodega, Calender st.
A new Ska/Reggae/Soul club, called Earthquake I think. Meant to be running every Friday too as far as I know.
good, good. what about times & admission?
you should put the happenings down the side. would be better layout i reckon
Dunno about time and admission, theres posters up around town with that stuff on it.
The details about the Johnny Hero show are on http://www.downtown.co.uk
Maybe you could get a photo of him to come up too? ;-)
here's the happenings in a side column:
content is just test bumf for the purposes of the demo
while it provides more room for additional listings, which is good, it feels a bit cramped to me... also ezboard's tables are all set to 95% width, leaving a big gap that could be used to spread stuff out
whatchas think? Edited by: fastfude at: 6/6/01 3:34:12 pm
Nah, that's ahine that is! :-)
hmm, couldn't find any info on Downtown's site about tuning into the station in Belfast on FM... eh?
and another thing. their real audio link doesn't seem to do much either?
i think without that damned gap it would look good, and dave would disagree with anything i say anyway so...
Downtown's Real Audio feed has been broken since last summer.
I occasionally email firstname.lastname@example.org to whinge
but it's always just ahine really.
it looks crappy with listings at the side
plus that KRAZY never-never-fastfude won't let me post cos for some bizarre reason i'm not a moderator
i was devastated
ahine! why you got such a big gap
my ezboard is fully rammed against my sidebar, so much so i had to space it out a bit
How's about posting the info in sectiong that run horizontally, with various tags to give hierarchy to the different components of each individual message?
RADIO: ACROSS THE LINE
BBC Radio Ulster - 92-95 FM
Latest hip hop, electro, deep house and techno.
Also label features and the weekly club guide, 20:00 - 22:00, website - live real audio stream
ok, so it didn't work there, but there aren't enough ezcodes.
But since the Happenings are in HTML you can try using various font sizes, colours etc.
