Does anyone know of one?
email firstname.lastname@example.org if so.
i think we tried to book one once to play with the Haints but i forget their name.
there's a bluegrass session in the Hewitt every Sunday, i think. Could do worse than checking it out...
that'd be the broken string band
they're kinda older guys
they charge Professional rates.
are you having a hoedown, joe?
mac suggested THE BENJAMINS joe.
problem is, i cannot find them on the web.
no apparent MySpace or website.
reckon contact mac to get their details.
They're excellent. Put me in mind of the Cowboy Junkies.
i like the Benjamins alot but there's not alot of bluegrass in them, apart from using a washboard.
Check with the lads from Cat Malojian. www.myspace.com/catmalojian
Jonny from the band plays unbelievable bluegrass banjo in another band as well, Northern Lights or Northern Exposure or something like that.
cheers folks, will check these out
nah bernard, no hoedowns for joe. one of martin's crazy ideas...
I can put you in touch with the Broken String Band if you need them. They are semi-regulars at Common Grounds, and are amazing at what they do.
are you sure? you could call it a joedown
or a hoedougan

Did I? Not that I wouldn't recommend them in general, but I have no recollection of recommending them for anything specific other than the Pine Hill Haints support in Laverys about a year and a half ago.
