La Cabaret @ Mono
9.30 to late
Mono, Ann Street, Belfast
Come to La Cabaret ….
This Easter Bank Holiday Monday, Mono Bar in Ann St will be turning back the clock to set the scene for “La Cabaret” - a night of unexpected delights based on Liza Minelli's most famous role.
Expect seductive sounds from the foxy forties, flirty fifties, sexy sixties and beyond, dangerously decadent drinks, low lights and dazzling displays by amazing artistes.
“We want this to be a night of extravagance” explains Sean McCann events manager of Mono “hopefully people will get involved in the whole spirit of Cabaret which is basically about not taking yourself too seriously, it’s all very tongue and cheek but with slightly risqué element.”
The night promises to be special with live performances from Smack, The Dark Damsel, Josephine Baker and Lady Spank, music courtesy of Sean McCann and Lyndon Stevens ( J2Z Festival ), and Helen's Heavenly Hosts will be on hand should you need a little more glamour in your life. There are also a few other treats that Mono wanted to keep up their sleeves.
Dress to excess in old time glamour and turn your Bank Holiday into "La Cabaret" at Mono.
As the last BelfastUnbound Production sold out in advance, leaving lots of disappointed would-be revellers, it is advisable to buy tickets in advance.
Tickets available in advance from Mono, Ann Street, and from Andrew Mulvenna Hairdressing Salon, Montgomery Street.
£10 Admission includes one free house cocktail. Doors open 9.30
