Yo, has anyone here stumbled upon the Queens Road Science Park, near the Odyssey? Just wondering it is walking distance from the city centre, far from the Arena itself? What we talking here? 10 mins? 15? from the Arena
Its down on Queens Island, bit more than 15 minutes walk I think cause its right down the back. I know there is a free bus that goes that way, or there was. You could try searching translink.
Yeah, have done, its just ill be leaving it quite late and there wont be a bus. Damn translink~!
theres no free bus no more.
Aye its past the Odyssey walk straight for 15mins. You're there. You cant get lost, as there is only one road.
Its the most exciting place on earth.
Oh there is a bus you can pay for, but it runs so infrequently youre best walking or getting a joe.
The 94a Metro will take you there from the city hall, but it's very infrequent.
There is still a private bus service that leaves from Adelaide Street and Queens, every 20 minutes or so, morning and back again at night, but it'll cost ye a pound - a wee silver bus.
The walk from the oddyssey may take 15 minutes, but you'll feel like you're walking a million miles.
It takes nearer 20 and there's no footpath. Some great businesses down there but a bit grim - nowhere to go for lunch.
Is that not the Titanic Quarter? With a monorail going directly to the Cathedral Quarter? And a spaceport etc
cities always seem to have more than 4 quarters,
I find it most non-euclidean.
Well they would do as I'm pretty sure it comes from the french word 'quartier' meaning district.

So its walking on the road???
I've only been there once, but I don't remember there being much in the way of footpaths and I got hell of muddy feet.
