MEET AT LIFEBOAT BAR BESIDE MCHUGH'S"
Haha. I don't think so!
I have a motto that goes "Never go into a pub that you can't see into."
Anyone been in there? Always figured it's one of those bars where everyone stares at you when you walk in, all the chairs are orange plastic ones and the place is floor to ceiling smoke.
Of course, I could be completely wrong....
Anyway - the films....nothing that really floats my boat...any recommendations?
Monday 26th March
Paris, je t'aime (really good - although I've only seen some of the little shorts but comes highly recommended)
Tell No One (Ne le dis a personne)
Plus the celebration of the god-like genius of Chevy Chase!
Thursday 29th March
The Life of Others (Das Leben der Anderen)
[quote:016a067133="Orzo"]Anyone been in there?[/quote:016a067133]No. Too scared. And I walked past it hundreds of times when I worked next to the Waterfront.
I believe that half of Dirty Stevie used to be Lifeboat regulars
The Goonies on the Lagan boat!!! Class!! I can't believe I missed the tix for this dammit!
As for the lifeboat, I lived beside it for years, and sure it's grand.. it's mostly old fellas and has dead cheap carryouts as a bonus.
