The Bedhamgers were a four peice rock band from Ballymena. The name Bedhangers came from Chris McGahey's girlfriend mispronouncing 'headbangers' whilst drunk. The band recorded their first release at Einstein Studios in 1992. The band recorded their songs'Home" and 'Hide". At that time they were playing small venues around the Ballymena area, but during an interview for told a local newspaper that they were back from a major English tour, so the next gig was packed full of eager locals waiting to see who were making it big in England.
