Biography
Geoff Gatt started his musical career as a busker, and after a number of diverse enterprises, returned to the streets with comrade Dominic O'Neill, to win the overall prize in the 2009 "Buskfest" in Banbridge.
Geoff is one of the few artistes in Belfast to feature the ukelele on stage, not only in its traditional role as backing for comic songs, but also occasionally to play blues lead breaks. He also plays guitar, including a mean Pete Townsend impression in the occasional Who tribute act Who's To Know.
Geoff gathered up a bunch of other talented musicians to form Geoff Gatt and the Mean Wolves (a variable number, but usually six or seven) and also performs with his partner Sweetcorn.
As well as other film and stage experience, he wrote and starred in the surreal musical Hippos in the Shower, which had four successful runs in Belfast, and one at the Edinburgh Fringe.
