Barrett Lahey is a producer/engineer based in Northern Ireland.
Born in California and based out of Portland, OR for many years, he moved to Northern Ireland in 2006.
His production style is unorthodox, relying heavily on the human influence of the people within the sessions to create a mood and sound of his recordings. He likes experimenting with recording techniques and frequently is involved in the creation and development of the music that he records.
Often he'll call on a solid crew of session musicians and co-producers within his musical world in order to develop smaller ideas into large ensembles.
He has worked with Neal Hughes, Dirty Blues, Girls Names, Mojo Fury, Johnny Vans, Pat Smyth, Axis Of & Robert Holmes.
