Altarego are a 4 piece from Londonderry/Donegal that have come together to share the message of Christ through their music. From playing in different bands prior to this year they have formed an alterative rock band with roots in emo and hints of blues/jazz. Their influences stem from the melodies of and#145;Jimmy Eat Worldand#146;, to the rocking sides of bands such as and#145;Idlewildand#146; and and#145;Incubusand#146;, and in a more local sense, a sound influenced by fellow Derry-based band and#145;Jetplane Landingand#146;. The band provide a powerful live experience, with emotive melodies, compelling chord-structures and heart-stopping guitar riffs.
