Adrian Markey

Adrian Markey began playing guitar in a small-town punk band tackling covers and experimental original material. The bands efforts in these early years were speculative and short-lived. So as ambition progressed and grew within Adrian, so too did his ability to craft a song and deliver it. Adrian Markey is an up and coming singer/songwriter of the same school as artists such as Damien Rice, Stephen Fretwell and Jeff Buckley. Local press have described Adrian's work as "heartbreaking" and "sublime" as his original material attempt to tackle issues of life, love, loss and, as one of his lyrics reads "sex, drugs, and the parasites of rock and roll."

Adrian has supported a number of Northern Irelands hottest bands including The Beat Poets and Ignition and has played a number of venues throughout the country including the legendary Spirit Store in Dundalk
