Long time no posting but I can't think of anywhere else to ask. My AC15 needs a re-valve and it's not something I've ever really looked into before so need some advice.
As far as I know it's a mid-90s AC15TB or TBX, I'm not sure which. This might give an idea of what it's like inside: http://www.voxshowroom.com/uk/amp/15tbx_hood.html
Anyway - I was looking for valve kits to buy to just made a direct replacement (I have someone to do it for me) but I can't find anything specifically for this amp.
The stock valves are in it, which are about 20 years old by my guess. I don't want to massively alter the sound from what's there, maybe a slightly dirtier sound but I'm not overly bothered. I'd like to buy a whole replacement set for under £100 but am sort of flexible on that.
If anyone has experience in this or can advise I'd really appreciate it.
Hey Danny. Not sure what the best replacements are for your valves but you know about having the impedance etc checked, right?
If you don't see what you need on their site give them a call, they are very helpful.
