Bands needed for Auntie Annies Gig - Jan 17th

    My first post!

    We need some bands (or solo acts) to play on Tuesday 17th January in the attic at Auntie Annies. This is would be a great opportunity for any band or solo artist to get a bit of publicity and their music heard.

    We would be up for this slot as we havent played auntie annie's as of yet
    But heres some more info on us below smile

    here is a Brief biog about the band.

    We got together in February of 2011. Tim and Bob had known each other for years, and Tim had met Chris the year before at a gig in Lavery's. We got together and after only two months had our first gig in Ma Nelsons. Between May and October, we had a lot of gigs, including The Empire and The Limelight. It wasn't until October of 2011 that the line up was completed, when Dan joined us after leaving his previous band. Dan and Chris have been best friends for years, and when Dan became available musically, we jumped at the chance to add such an excellent guitarist to our line up.

    The best way to describe our music is classic/heavy/blues rock. We take our influence from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Alice in Chains, Whitesnake, Guns N Roses, AC DC and lots of other bands, mainly from the 70's/80's.

    Factoids –

    Tim used to play in a band called Smokin' Aces, which at their peak were playing pretty big gigs around Northern Ireland. Chris and Dan have both been in numerous Bands and music acts before, and also played in several Blues Jams at the end of 2011. Bob is the only member of the band not to have been in a band before, having only been playing the Bass for almost a year.

    Our best gig had to be the EP Launch on the 19th of November in The Limelight. The crowd was the best we have ever played to, really responsive and energetic. The whole band was on form, playing better than we ever have, and the response we have had since then has been near overwhelming.
