I really don't want to part with this - but I haven't played in a couple of years and I'm leaving the country, so time has come to part.
It's just been serviced by Bairds, and comes with a full set of tubes (used) and the original manual, as well as dust cover. I had it custom-built in the US with red leather and tan grill.

how many lbs does that weigh ?
if this sells at anywhere near this price i'l eat my shorts
i spoke with Mesa a while ago, trying to figure out an artist deal for (surprisingly) an artist, and i remember the figure £4,500 being thrown around for a road king combo.
They are tremendously versatile; basically two amps in one chassis (assuming the combo has the dual output transformer like the head.)
It's heavy, scumbag. A quick google suggests over 100lbs!
Yeah, Leif, that's near what I paid for it new. Have had a few people look at it, and they advised me on the resale price. It's a pretty unique piece of gear.
I'm open to offers though.
Just came across a great review from Guiter Buyer while searching for that, that goes into a bit more detail about the amp.
when i saw the recessed carry handles thats what i thought john. i think petrucci uses one of those, great amp mate.
I'm moving to the US in a few weeks, so I really need to sell this. If anyone's interested in having a look, or making an offer of what they'd be able to pay, let me know.
