Of course that won't be all you'll need.

Someone will then have to go round and install Spotify for you. They will have to show you how it works. They will have to show you how to make playlists. They have have to show you how to pause a song. They will have to show you how to unpause a song etc. etc.

I never bothered to get a free Spotify account because I was sure they'd go bust pretty quick. As far as I know, they're still not breaking even, but the service is still going, which is a bit of a surprise.

I'm even more surprised that Grooveshark hasn't been closed down! ;)

I really hope Spotify doesn't go tits up because annoying adverts aside, its bloody brilliant! I'd be more inclined to pay for a premium membership if it was 30 p/ annum or something similar. 120 is a bit on the steep side.

I believe the difference between breaking even and what they're doing is the difference between a puddle and the pacific.
Before they made it invite only the ratio of non-paying to paying was ~17,000:1

    [edit] Some actual figures:

    Monthly Earning: 1million
    Monthly Cost of streaming/royalties/etc: 3million
