Karl Spain was born and still lives in Limerick, but he has travelled in between. He has performed his comedy all over the world. He’s probably best known in Ireland for his TV series ‘Karl Spain Wants A Woman’. Which was a huge success in that he not only got huge ratings but he also found himself a woman. He is also a regular face on RTE’s hit TV show the ‘Panel’.
Despite his own series he has also performed stand up on television all over the world. The U.S, the Middle East, Australia and even as far away as England. Expect nothing but the best from Karl who is one of Ireland’s top comics.
“the future of Irish comedy is in safe hands” [b:322d45219b]Hot Press[/b:322d45219b]“see him now before he gets too big” [b:322d45219b]The Three Weeks[/b:322d45219b]
Carol is a dark surreal comic who has been performing stand up comedy for just over three years. She has performed in two Edinburgh Festivals and the last three Kilkenny Cats Laugh Festivals. Last year she made her debut in the main festival as the star of the Dark Show where she performed with Rich Hall. She has supported comedy heavyweights Tommy Tiernan and Ardal O’Hanlon. She has recently made Irish TV appearances as a panellist on RTE’s hit comedy show The Panel and starred in Project Ha Ha’s Touching People. She regularly writes features for the Sunday Independent.
“My favourite ever Irish female comedian. She is unpredictably kooky and borderline psychotic.” Olaf Tyaransen – [b:322d45219b]The Evening Herald[/b:322d45219b]
“Exceptionally dark, regularly very funny” [b:322d45219b]Chortle[/b:322d45219b]
