£3.50 // A Place To Bury Strangers //Japandroids – Playing this Wednesday 11th November in Auntie Annies
A Place to Bury Strangers are a power trio from New York City. The Band play a heavy, atmospheric wall of sound-influenced blend of psychedelic rock, shoegaze and space rock. A Place To Bury Strangers have been affectionately lauded as New York City’s “loudest band” by various indie reviewers and bloggers throughout the course of their live music career, as well as “the most ear-shatteringly loud garage/shoegaze band you’ll ever hear” by The Washington Post.
£3.50 // Cymbals Eat Guitars // North Atlantic Oscillations – Playing next Sunday 15th November in Auntie Annies
Cymbals Eat Guitars is an indie-band from New York City that features an incredible density of sound and phenomenal command of dynamic control. They can go from a quiet whisper to a cacophonous explosion in an instant. They layer sound on sound on sound, with keyboards, guitars, bass and drums, and the result is so complex without sounding overblown.
Nice! Is Johnny Foreigner included in that if I was to pop down to Katys tomorrow night to pick up a ticket?
Tomorrows 1/2 price tickets include A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS / CYMBALS EAT GUITARS
But keep an eye out for more 1/2 tickets next Tuesday:)
