RICKY WARWICK + special guest HENRY CLUNEY (ex STIFF LITTLE FINGERS)
The Diamond Rock Club
Wednesday 23rd December 2009
Ricky Warwick returns to The Diamond Rock Club for the 4th and final time in 2009, on Wednesday 23rd December.
Ricky’s first two appearances this year (20th March and 12th April) were both solo and acoustic, however his last gig, on Friday 7th August was with a full band and fully electric.
After the electric gig, people had their own opinions about what they preferred the best, acoustic or electric.
So as with all of Ricky’s gigs at The Diamond,we try to come up with something different, and Wednesday 23rd December should be really special - two gigs in one !!
Ricky will perform for two hours, solo and acoustic, playing his latest album “Belfast Confetti” in it’s entirety, for the first time anywhere in the world, as well as playing songs from his other two albums and of course some ALMIGHTY classics.
After a very short break, Ricky will be joined onstage by his full band, including very special guest, HENRY CLUNEY of STIFF LITTLE FINGERS fame. The band will then play until they drop, including some SLF favorites. By this time, it will of course be Christmas Eve, so this really will be one hell of a party !!!
This will be Ricky’s one and only Irish date on this visit and probably his last date anywhere in Ireland until the summer of 2010.
