There was a thread about him on the Shine board last night saying that he didn't look well on TV.... dead a few hours later! What were the chances

Well, pretty good really. It was a surprise he lasted that long.

I vaguely remember a programme of him wandering glassy-eyed around Belfast, fondly comparing it to Florence (or was it Venice?). Classic.

Ach I know he had cancer and wasn't well, but it was still a bit of random coincidence that the thread should've started hours before he died.

Keith Floyd was class, he de-poncified cooking....which was nice

  11. avatar whipchorus

    Goodnight sweet prince.

Seriously with the glut of cookery shows on the tele the master should have had a chance to bring the cup home, with a wee swally too.

  12. avatar abandcalledboy

I always thought he was cool, and I've never had an interest in cooking.

Apparently he died waiting for his programme to start on TV last night....
    weird but anyway, RIP.

    laugh

Yeah I agree - it's just unfortunate that Ainsley Harriott came along and undid all his good work though
