[size=18:33f2fb224d]Red Light Company[/size:33f2fb224d] are a five-piece alternative rock band based in London, England. The band was formed in 2007 by members Richard Frenneaux (vocals/guitar), Shawn Day (bass), James Griffiths (drums), Paul Mellon (guitar) and Chris Edmonds (keyboards). They came together following an advert Richard posted on the internet, to which Shawn quickly responded, and moved from his home in Wyoming, United States to London in order to pursue making music with the rest of the group.
Currently signed to Lavolta Records, Red Light Company have received favourable comparisons to Arcade Fire,U2 and Editors. Red Light Company have been named as one of the hottest new bands of 2009 by both NME and HMV. Their debut album Fine Fascination was released on 2 March 2009, along with their fourth single "Arts & Crafts" on the same day.

Colenso Parade like all the best bands are a tight arse gang of old friends. Their soulful indie exudes romance, melodies and attitude with nods to the classic song writing partnerships and a majority share of home made originality. Their storytelling is brimming with blue eyed romance, jaded heartbreak and wry observations. Plaudits from institutions as NME, AU Magazine, Radio 1, ATL and Hotpress Magazine suggest these catchy tunes are not to be ignored!

Paul Mellon of RLC is not to be mistaken with Paul Mellon CP. We should really change that 'tight arse gang' thing too.

Fuck I forgot about that. Ian from Plastic Rose hacked our myspace account a while back. Pay backs going to be a bitch.

Can't wait to see Red Light Company. Heard them on Jo Whiley's live lounge a bit back, they were one of the few listenable artists she had on that week.

By that do ya mean you left yourself signed in in Charlies and Ian did what any man would do?

Great gig last night. Just went down to see Colenso but was pleasantly surprised with RLC. didn't realise they sang that Arts and Crafts song Zane Lowe has been playing. Diddly.
