I had a peek into were the gig is taking place this weekend- inside a massive sports hall with a very high roof. Is the gig doomed to have a poor sound or is there anyway they can rectify it?

A big roof you say?... all the more room for burger smells to waft in.
Sure if it all goes wrong we can go for a swim and down to Squires for a cheeseburger afterwards.

Possibly one of the most surreal gigs I'll ever be at.

Squires? it's hasn't been about for years.

What about a soggy sausage roll in the leisure centre canteen, followed by a gleek at the swimmers.

It'll always be Squires to me.

I wonder if the Moz is a speedos man or Bermuda shorts? As long as he knows the rules - no cannonballing or heavy petting and he'll be grand.

If the ole lesiure centre has some professional standard acoustic foam or panels they can pop out from the back shed, then no :).

Dont think Morrisey sounds good in any venue anyway...suppose im nic-pickin.

So, what'd everybody think of the gig? I had a great time except that it was really short. ;( and the support were terrible.
