Ricky Warwick makes a much-anticipated return to Island Arts Centre, Lisburn on Friday 1 May, following his sell out performance in 2008.

Performing songs from his new album Belfast Confetti as well as delving into his back catalogue of solo material and no doubt an Almighty song or two, this promises to be a dynamic conclusion to his recent Irish tour.

Support comes in the form of local troubadour John Darcy.

Tickets are now on sale priced 7.83 available from the ISLAND Arts Centre box office, Tel: 028 92 509254 or online at www.islandartscentre.com

I had the pleasure of interviewing Ricky after his in-store gig at HMV on Monday.

It dawned on me it was the first time I'd seen him perform since The Almighty's Mandela Hall gig with the Wildhearts and Kerbdog in 1993!

The new album is real grower. Looking forward to Lisburn.
