Last night me and my compadries were walking down the ormeau rd from L'etoile to Palookaville. A cat followed us. By the time we got so far down the road that leaving the cat alone was not an option (it kept trying to run into traffic) we took it home and put it in the bathroom.

It is black, I'd say a year or two old and has a very distinctive collar (diamante skull and crossbones) We've called it Fucatzi. But if your missing him (or her, haven't really looked) he (again, or she) is safe and you can contact myself, or Steven Dedalus and have him (or her) back.

If not then he (or she) is off to the USPCA. Or failing that, the Emerald.

why not take it back to the spot you found it? Think cats are pretty good at finding their way home. RSPCA will probably end up putting it down, most owners would probably just assume the cat's been hit by a car if it hasn't returned home so they probably wouldn't look in the RSPCA for it.

Hi, i'm pretty sure this is my friend's cat. It lives in the gaff of Joe Radio K / Neil Driving By Night on Burmah Street. Just gave them a shout to see if they're missing a cat at the moment!

Yep, that's her! Can you PM me yr address?

Get it out of there before Stephen Rainey turns it into a Yes fan! Hurry!

Pmed. And I have to say, she's very well trained. She wee'ed in the bath as opposed to all over the floor. It's like Meet the Parents.

too late. She's listening to Tales of Topographic Oceans right now. I think she's appreciating a break from DBN

as a sneaky business opportunity, i'll microchip that cat at a reduced scene rate of 20 quid....

that way he's easily returned if he does one again.

This thread has made me smile. I have 2 cats and would be very upset if either of them went missing. Good to hear he's goin back home! Though I think if yous'd left him outside, he woulda got there anyway. Actually, thinkin about it, yous basically just kidnapped a cat? Shame on yis!

    Drink had been taken.

Anyway, Fucatzi is now back in the hands of his rightful owners, and we can use our bathroom again.

I was just lettin one of my cats in the window there, and my opening of it pushed him down onto the concrete below. I know they always land on their feet but I feel so sorry for doin it. I need absolution, and the fuckin cat isn't gonna give me any - nothin but dirty looks so far... I didn't mean it, Mince!

Unless you attach a piece of buttered toast to the cat's back.

I've been following this on Facebook and I'm dead chuffed that you guys found Fucatzi's owner via the power of Fastfude. Such a nice heartwarming story on this, the day that Christ arose. :-D

is this the cat there's a poster of in the centra? if so, she is lovely

I'm pleased that this ended well for all concerned. But I'm a bit freaked out that out of all the cats in belfast we could have 'adopted' it was Neal's and Joe's.

Whereas animal lovers worldwide are dismayed by this blameless animal having been warped, while in captivity, to the extent where she has pledged herself to learn the bass parts of 'Close To The Edge' or die trying.
  19. avatar Sir Bob Gelding
It wasn't just Steven's influence. When I left her she was learning the drum bits to Just Like Honey by the Mary Chain. Had them nailed down pretty good I thought.

i saw a girl sticking posters of her missing cat up around the ormeau area last week. Must be the same one. Good to know safe and sound, although I'm not much of a fan of cats. Way to crafty for my liking, give me a dopey but loyal, happy go lucky wee mut over a cat any day :-)
  24. avatar Amz
My cats kept dying on me when I was little...

therefore I equate Cats = Death....

(That being said, I like how cats are independent compared to the dopey loyal muttts...There to be cute when you want em, gone the next)

    Close, cats=evil.

Still though, wouldn't want to see one suffer so it's nice to see this one get home safe. Nice to see it getting into Yes too.

I can't believe there's a thread on Fastfude about how some drunken loons kidnapped a cat on the way home from the pub. Where do you think you are, North Korea??

Next time, we're aiming for a goat or an elephant.

Whichever is easier to fit in the bathroom.*

*Which would be the goat, obviously.
