Would it be the Smarties one that was around about 20 years that came with a free Smarties cup?

My favourite Easter egg was a Pyramint one. It was fucking huge and smelled amazing.

The number of people I have to hear say this every year...

Good idea on the surface, but would it really be worth the instant diabetes?

If they made it, it would be this:

    (Giant Cadbury Creme Egg)

I wonder who it was that thought children would ever want a mug with their chocolate?

I go for the Mini Eggs one meself.
  14. avatar all-is-vanity
I'll second the mini eggs. Quality.

Having said that, nothing beats a good ole easter egg hunt. You can never be too old...can you?!

I may push the boat (way) out this year and try one of these Lindt bunnies that I keep seeing on the T.V.

My therapist says I should try new things.

It would defo be one of the eggs I used to get when I was a kid in Italy simply because they were twice the size of Easter eggs over here. But chocolate-wise my favourite has always been the Lindt chocolate egg, best chocolate ever.

Magic! I had one of them, I remember it like it was yesterday.

What ever happened to the Pyramint?

My favourite used to be the Yorkie egg. Usually had a mug with it but back in my youth they came in a box designed to look like a lorry... after that it didn't really matter what was actually inside.

I second that emotion - they were kick-ass!

When I was a kid most Cadbury's eggs were exactly the same, even if they were a different chocolate bar [Wispa, buttons, etc] so I always found a Malteser egg to be a good choice. Something a bit different and absolutely lovely! And the Maltesers mugs were class too.

stick your eggs up your one basket y'all!

I went to Ikea and bought 4 twin packs of these bastards instead...

What was the matter with this? According to Wikipedia, production ceased due to falling demand? WTF? The taste buds of this nation leave a lot to be desired. And they bring back the f**king Wispa.

What ever happened to the Pyramint?[/quote:8311e9b3c5]I know, challenging eating due to its sharp geometry, but well worth the work. Fuck Wispas, I don't understand them anyway. It's like normal chocolate, but just less... dense. Shite. At least the pyramint was innovative, daring and a little bit of history in a single treat. What a beautiful tip of the hat to pre-historical civilization. Marvelous.
