Its already 15 years to the day since Kurt Cobain was found dead at his home.

Anyone want to hug it out?

I saw this on a 'wanna feel old?' blog.

Furthermore, did you know Quantum Leap was set in 1999, and that Ghostbusters is now a quarter of a century old?

    I felt old.

I'll hug it out with you. Remember when I heard the news, John Peel solemnly saying "Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and now Kurt Cobain". Was supposed to go see Nirvana in Dublin that night too. (Still have the ticket)

Remember it well. Woke up, herd the news... made some toast and prepared for Britpop.

    Good times.

Ayrton Senna dead 15 years, too - May 1.

Anyway I can't get behind all these footballers born in the nineties - to think they missed the likes of Steve Chettle, Ian Ormondroyd, Owen Archdeacon, Andrea Silenzi, Julio Dely-Valdes (Panama's finest ever?), Marco Etcheverry, Brian Kilcline, Justin Edinburgh, how exactly are they meant to know anything about the game?

Madder still, as a fresh faced 15 year old I saw Metallica and Danzig there in October 1988.

Now I just sit here in my twilight years with my old grey balls.
