as i just posted over on thon remix thread, we've made stems of our song 'God Says' available for remixers here:
if anyone fancies downloading them and having a crack please feel free and send us the results. we've a few remix projects going on with some of the album tracks, and we're planning something special around that for January
we've released them under a Creative Commons license, has anyone had much experience with this? is it worth the bother?
any of these came through yet? i'd be very interested to hear the results
its early days Jimmy, but i'll keep you posted!
Go on then...
I like the horns - made me smile.
this is sweet, i agree about the horns, awesome, cheers Mr Blanco!
Oh I missed this. Mine wont be any good but I will have fun so that's good enough. :)
I've done an off kilter bouncy thing with the vocal and drums. Let me know if you are happy or if it's an affront to everything you stand for :P
get it on my little last fm page here
Shameless Hussies, dear X I want to die, put me down now.
Rich, so that's what they were for, you sneaky boy, and not even a shout out.
Will get something for you when I get together with Ranks again.
Can anyone tell me where they've got a FLAC decompressor which works for windows? I've tied both the a and b variant from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=13478&package_id=12675 without success.

[b:8b744f5947]Adobe Audition[/b:8b744f5947] has a plugin for decompressing FLAC and then you can save it as you wish.
Thanks, but I'm not going to buy Audition for that, especially is FLAC is meant to be free as far as I'm aware. Has anyone else found where to get it?
Why not just play the FLAC files in Winamp and change the output plugin to Disk Writer? Anything Winamp can play it can write as a WAV.
is there much time left for more people to have a go?
i'm having a go. i'll take ages.
Yeah I've got as far as downloading the stems. :)
