as i just posted over on thon remix thread, we've made stems of our song 'God Says' available for remixers here:

    http://escapeact.bandcamp.mu/album/god-says-remix-stems

if anyone fancies downloading them and having a crack please feel free and send us the results. we've a few remix projects going on with some of the album tracks, and we're planning something special around that for January

we've released them under a Creative Commons license, has anyone had much experience with this? is it worth the bother?

Can anyone tell me where they've got a FLAC decompressor which works for windows? I've tied both the a and b variant from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=13478&package_id=12675 without success.

[b:8b744f5947]Adobe Audition[/b:8b744f5947] has a plugin for decompressing FLAC and then you can save it as you wish.
  12. avatar MSB Mastering
Thanks, but I'm not going to buy Audition for that, especially is FLAC is meant to be free as far as I'm aware. Has anyone else found where to get it?
  13. avatar Senor Blanco
Why not just play the FLAC files in Winamp and change the output plugin to Disk Writer? Anything Winamp can play it can write as a WAV.
