I came across this link which says Johnny Borrell has written songs using a Ouija Board

    http://www.answers.com/topic/ouija

Any song writers on here have any strange or unusual way of writing their stuff?

I used to go to a weird little bar with my guitarist, order a calypso coffee, and get stuck in.

Nothing we ever wrote there made it to the stage, so perhaps it's not the best example.

I write by listening to a song I like then trying to make something up using the same tempo, chords, melody and song structure with words pulled from a rhyming dictionary.
