Same article: "Miller is still said to be attached to the forthcoming ensemble superhero tale Justice League, which will combine Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in one film"

What a pile of pish that would be... ew.

Ulysses 31 was probably my favourite of the lot, even better than Cities Of Gold - what was his son called, Telemechaus or something?

It was fucking spooky the way the rest of the crew were all asleep and hovering. Actually the ambient sound of the whole thing was amazing.

Even RTE were doing re runs some years back. They dont make 'em like they used to.

Except that the Justice League is one of the most successful comics in DC's entire range, and has been consistently since the '60s.

The problem is that most of the planet has no idea that Superman and Batman exist in the same universe, let alone Wonder Woman (who is class in the comics, nothing like the daft TV series).

watched the Ulysses 31 complete series there the other week. couldn't forget their names as they cry out for each other in peril every 5 seconds.
Great show though. The full theme song wasn't on the dvd though. Philip Schofield singing it on youtube is funny I must say. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CbbBqZyjkiE&feature=related
does it say 'it's me no no I'm a robot you know'?
    I don't know
  9. avatar PhatBob
it goes 'Its me Nono, small robot you know, Friend of Ulysses'

That was the wee red guy robot thing - he was called Nono.

    :D

I was just saying last month how U31 has been tragically overlooked when all these crap-fest adaptations have been shat out recently. Let's hope this one does the job.
