last summer of retro dates inside

   yes our portrush venue is on its last legs. being toppled at end of year. lets make this a good last summer.

   here are the dates yet to be filled, if you wish to play at any of them get in touch!

   fri 11th july
   fri 18th july
   fri 25th july
   fri 8th august
   fri 15th august
   fri 29th august

   there will be more in september and october and that will probably be it.
   been a lot of great gigs in the past, hopefully we can get a few of the artists back to play one last time!

   heres some that i can remember: kila kela + plus one, yoda, vadim, woody, aphrodite, foreign beggars, electric eelshock with fighting with wire, sub60 + zsp, 4 ft fingers with triggerman, skinnyman x 2, mark b, and recent team fresh ad asiwyfa afar gigs been great too.

   Sad to see the Retro go. The Dangerfields had many fun, weird nights there.

   indeed. there were a few eventful tupelo incident and tenrapid gigs up there.

   soundcheck
   kfc
   gig
   roll around the floor to triggerman
   retire to the eglinton hotel for after hours boozing
   sleep in the spartan comfort of duke's lodge.

   in fact the derry was the sight of my first ever proper gig. newton's cradle circa 1993 and the PA blew up so we spent the evening playing nirvana covers before I threw a rock star strop and stormed off.
