Only a couple of pieces really - I recently acquired a couple of old Wharfedale speakers and I only had rubbish speakers with soldered-on wires before now.

Anyone got a few yards lying spare? The speakers sit quite close to the Hi-Fi itself, so length shouldn't be an issue.

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. Does anyone know anything about Wharfedale Chevin XP speakers anyway? I'm no expert, but even if they're rubbish they'll still be as good as my previous set.

I think I have some in the attic I could give you, I'll check tonight.

I'm taking its normal hi-fi speakers you have and not the 12" PA speakers that google threw up.

Aye, normal speaker wire - 2 terminals on each on basically.

Sorry mate, my bro got first dibs on it.

I came home today to find him tearing it apart to make a talkbox

Never worry about it - cheers for the thought though!

    Anyone else?

Just use mains wire. I always do.

I was thinking that, but I don't think I've any duff wires lying about anyway. I'll do a wee search. The offending speakers are at my Lisburn home, which I won't see until the weekend, so there's no hurry.
