I was having problems doing so from new University computer software.
Windows XP or the like.
I wouldn't have been able to say so either if I didn't have access to another computer...
I've had problems logging-in on College & Library computers that are behind servers and the like but I've got a way to get in.
You've gotta right click on the Forums box and
'open link in a new window'.
This should give you a page with in the address bar.
Hopefully you should be allowed to log-in successfully after that.

I suspect this is something to do with migrating cookies across domains - ie jumping from fastfude.com to ezboard.com within a frameset can potentially be seen as a security risk by your browser it's paranoid.
Also, IE6 has very stringent (but quite good) cookie filters, and you need to tell it to always allow cookies from ezboard.com or it'll keep logging you out.
I think most QUB computers are going to be updated to Windows XP pretty soon.
Students aren't authorized to fiddle with security settings/cookies/etc so you might find a whole bunch of people disappearing pretty soon...
Ah, Eamonn's wee trick does indeed work.
It might be wise to stick it somewhere prominent...
k, I'll just set the forum link to not use the frameset
Aye make sure ya do it before the new school term starts. The children may cry.
gah. it would've been fine if it weren't for those meddling kids.
were the kids of america !!! woah
k, forums should pop out of the frameset now when you click the "forum" button on 't menu bar... let me know if that helps with the login nonsense...
It works on this side of the boat.
