decided to write a basic redirect page to replace ezboard's logout page, as it was disturbing my chi (or something).
Now when you log out (like you ever do!), it should take you back to the bands page...

It works fine, but if you have the ezboard itself bookmarked and are looking at the board without the ff frameset (sinners), when you log out, you're slipped neatly over to www.riffmastergeneral.com/ff/.
You could mebbee put a target="_parent" in the href and link it back to www.fastfude.com, so it reloads the entire frameset all over again.
    Just mebbee.

can you put TARGET parameters into META tags though?

s'pose there's one way to find out

And what're you doing bookmarking the ezboard, eh? Bookmark the damn domain, already! Damn tree-huggers...

    I tried

    META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="0;URL=http://www.fastfude.com;TARGET=_top">

    META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="0;URL=http://www.fastfude.com" TARGET="_top">

but neither worked, so just opted for a straightforward tag, no refresh... poop.

Rog, does staying logged on, even over the weekend when i don't use the site, slow the server down?

If it does i'll definatley log-off from now on!

Hey! My 500th post! Damb i wanted to save that for the main forum! Ah well just have to wait till i'm up to 1000!

Don't worry, logging into ezboard just means a file called a cookie is put on your PC saying "Forkoid is logged in".
The same thing happens for logging out, that's why you can be logged in on one PC, then go to another and be logged out there, then come back to your first PC and still be logged in.
So don't worry bout slowing the ezboard servers down.
