    Hi,

We are looking for 5 bands to play a charity gig in the Limelight. We will be doing alot of advertising and we need each band to sell 80 tickets as a target (which goes toward costs/charity) to get a good crowd.

    or

Thankyou, please let me know asap. Chris

You need each band to sell 80 tickets? Sounds a little Pay to Play-ish to me...

    what's the charity?

wouldn't it be a better idea to run this in laverys or the pavillion, then the only cost is a sound man, and you might realistically make some money

your gonna find it very difficult finding a realistic opening act of a set of 5 that can bring 80 people

not that you will probably ever read this but the gig was a great sucsess we had 5 bands and 300 people there and we raised 1,250 for medical students to go to Malawi.

    But thanks any way.

    Thanks to

Malawi is very poverty stricken country i'd say they were going there to look after sick people for free, prob one of the most charitable things you could do!
