Again another gig people might want to know about:

    U:MACK
    present
    BATTLES
    FRIDAY AUG 24
    TRIPOD
    €21

Sold out last time and people were begging for tickets outside. Been great the last two times. Will be ace except for the fact it will be sooooooooooo busy and warm.

What mode of transport will you be using to get to this one Pete?
Mark Reid can take about 5 on his back if you stick wheels on his knees and chin.

i've seen this bunch thrice now and they are truly, truly stunning.
last show in dub sold out so be quick but this venue is huge!!!
oh! but it has the loudest air conditioning syatem in the world. good for keeping things cool but bad for drowning out quiet bands.

But is the tripod stage high enough for the drummers symbols?

I haven't loved the album as much as a lot of people have, but they seem like a stunning live band:

It was turned off for Beirut and we sweltered. Battles should be loud enough not to have to worry! I pray this doesn't sell out before I get paid at the end of the month...

Ooh, they're playing the Roisin Dubh in Galway the night before too. Could be a possibility.

they should play up here bunch of lazy gits!
  12. avatar spirit of division

venue size is no problem...but 21 euros is about £15...do you think there'd be over 500 people in belfast willing to fork that out for them? I know the guy who does their dublin shows and he said that he could have sold out the last venue three times...that was the tbmc in dublin too!
