Anyone had a problem with the power supply socket on the PODs?
Mine won't turn on and just lights a few LEDs on the display.
Recommend how to fix it / someone to fix it?
Nope...I've never heard of it either from anyone else. I've three of 'em, and they're fine so far, touch wood.....
Is it the socket, or maybe the wee transformer?
Perhaps it's a sympton of the device's general invalidity... :-O
You've used them extensively...haven't you?
I have never had a problem with the power adaptor but for some reason when my pod is in tuning mode i can hear my guitar. This i cant explain!
Doesn't sound very valid to me... ;-)
Yes, about as valid as bass pedals, I'd say....... ;)
I had a problem with the guitar input about 6 months ago.
It broke after someone else was using it :rolleyes
Anyway, I e-mailed line6 in the uk and they quoted a price of £50 to get it fixed inc. postage and VAT etc. However, thinking this was a bit harsh, I enquired how much the part would be itself.
Got it for free! and a mate of mine with the necessary soldering equipment fitted it :)
It was a guy called Richard Gammage - RGammage@line6.com who dealt with my enquiry.
I'd e-mail him see if he can diagnose the problem and hopefully get it free.
Any electrician could fit a new power supply socket if that turns out to be the problem.
Hope that helps.
