one of our temps (who happens to have recently moved over from england) was using sat nav to get from our york street office to Stormont.

First of all he ended up in the darkest recesses of the docks, then on the motorway headed for Antrim.

Not sure the system is all it should be over here....

rigsy tried to use it to drive to and from football tonight, and we got lost twice. twice!

what i don't understand is the way i see the same mondeo man on my morning commute to work, using his sat nav along the m1 every day. does he not know his way by now?

We've had sat nav in our car since sometime last year, it's been quite good except that it loses the motorway from drogheda to dundalk, which is a bit crap.

to be fair, niall, we got lost on the way because of that dopey new bridge which sat nav freaked out about cause he didn't know it existed....and we got lost on the way home cause i wasn't listening to the poor fucker cause i was huffing cause we go beat 17-0 or something.

the right sat nav (has to be garmin or another make i can't remmeber the name of) works completely fine in northern ireland, never had a problem, apart from that new bridge.

 arrrgggh. That freaky 'comedian' that you have as your pic used to *terrify* me as a kid, and he may well be appearing in McHugh's basement for the CQAF. I'm booking the night off. Absolutely terrifying.

the funniest thing on tv i have seen in ages was when he stood in for aphex twin (he doesnt do interviews) on the 100 most shocking videos on channel 4. a legend - im afraid to even wonder what he looks like under that head...
