Jesus, Fyfe was one of the most inventive drummers in metal / punk / HC ever, never mind NI.

Damn right, and all the more apparent back then against his contemporaries. Legend.

Gad, Fyfe was what made Therapy? into a cracker band rather than the pub rockers they were destined to remain without him.

Yes t'was him, aaaye. First Therapy? song I ever heard was Skinning Pit and the thing that really stood out was the drums. Class. Really original - sounded like techno drums over metal. In fact, didn't he go on to be a techno DJ or somethin? Anyway, very innovative player. Not many drummers could put "all styles" in an ad and come up with the goods when it come to the crunch. I'm sure Fyfe can. In fact, I'm thinkin of quitting drums for my band and getting him to play instead. Wonder what we would sound like? Maybe original or GOOD for a change. Fyfe's bananas, first and finest, bananas like these don't grow on trees, banananananananananananan(can't stop) ananananananana....

Listening to that sessions album at the minute, just have to marvel at the mans work, particularly taken with the version of "Prison Breaker" and multiple versions of "Totally Random Man"
