Rachel Austin describes herself as "Joni Mitchell impersonating Jeff Buckley." Her style shows leanings toward the genres she loves: jazz, bluegrass, Irish traditional and rock. Growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the music from the neighbours' porches, yards and tent meetings used to echo throughout the hollow. At nights some of them used to stay up late playing fiddle, bass and banjo. This lady has music in her soul!

Rachel's musical abilities haven't gone unnoticed. In 1996 she opened for platinum selling band POD. She has also performed at the Cornerstone Music Festival. More recently she has making her mark on the Belfast scene, with support slots for Eric Taylor, The Believers, Steve Forbert, Juliet Turner and Brian Houston and live on Across the Line and with George Jones on BBC Radio Ulster. Catch her while you still can!!

"Paula McALeese delivers consistently impressive performances making her one of the few strong female vocalists in the country", Drop-D.ie

Spine tingling vocals and enchanting melodies are words repeatedly heard by Paula McAleese. Having recently embarked on a solo path once more with a guest spot on Ralph McClean’s show at the start of September, Paula has been gaining speed and attracting attention since her first gig in May 2003 as part of 'Saturday Night Live' in the Pavilion. Fronting Amoruza since April 2004 the band enjoyed success playing gigs across the province releasing their first E.P. 'Discover' with a live set at Virgin Megastore in November 2004. More success followed with regular gigs through Sputnik, Bruised Fruit Promotions and the Gifted showcase. Paula's leap back into the solo arena promises to be a story not to be missed!

This is a night that will leave you begging for more!! Don't miss out!!

Doors are at nine, all pints are a sweet £2!!! What more could you ask for?!?
