I considered the emulator but I want the real thing baby. I'm not a serious gamer so the Wii will have to wait a decade.

Surely if you're not a serious gamer then an emulator would satisfy your SNES urges?

When someone else in my house fancies a game of Mario or whatever I don't want to have to hand over my laptop each time.

Why not go to cash converters? They're pretty cheap in there as far as I remember.

    it is modded just.

whats really fun is hitting select to hear the kerching of a credit going into a machine on MAME.

Golden Axe is especially fun. Or 4 player Sunset Riders or 4 player Turtles or Mario kart 64 :)

Yeah my bro has a chipped xbox too and yes, filling up the virtual arcade machines on MAME is [i:959c0dd7a6]very[/i:959c0dd7a6] satisfying.

So too is renting a game and saving it forever.

I found mine the other day. 2 pads Doom and MARIO KART!!! If you give me a nice offer it's yours. Even comes with a leather bag thing to carry it about in. Not that you would necessarily be wanting to carry it about or anything. In Belfast. Am in the town drinking a fair bit, so you could come and get it off me. Or I'll deliver (within reason). Oh, and it still works. Send me a message if you are still interested in one.

Nintendo still have my SNES. After idiotically putting a Japenese converter with an import of Super Street Fighter II into it - THE WRONG WAY - FRYING IT, I sent it to them for repair - this was back in '93.
Nintendo indicated in their reply that they knew what I'd done and asked for £30 ransom money. I didn't pay up - wouldn't have had the money for a while - but apparently Nintendo lost some court case or other for rippin people off as it turned out that the cost of repair for the chip that blew (PCB chip I think it was called? I dunno..) only cost about 2 or 3 poun or so. Never followed it up though... I might write to them.... :?
