Been thinking about doing this for a while and I finally got round to it last night. It's a mash of unsigned/small label records from N. Irish artists. I used a few random samples but all from NI tracks.
Recognise any of the tracks? first person to name all of them gets a Curley Wurly, a packet of Bikers and an orange tip-top from the tuck shop circa 1995.
Tracklist:
[sample: Bellcrash - Open Minded]
1. Island Hopper presents Scoper & Bubba - Just Like That
2. P45 - Bad Karma
3. Alloy Mental - Alloy Mental
4. The Evangelists - Microwave Man
5. Duke Special - I Let You Down
6. Dave Lievense & Conor Magavock - Discotek
[sample: The Feline Dream: People Without Pets (live)]
7. The Hellfire Club - Polanski '62
8. Torgas Valley Reds - Torgas Valley Blue
Something local that doesn't have the Dangerfields? But that's all the Northern Ireland local scene consists of.
Is there anything, anything at all, that you actually like or don't feel sneering contempt for?
Just askin'.

Would you mind telling us all your name?
Before you're banned?
Indeed.

You are sooo 2002.
P.S. F*ck off and die.
having been a user of fastfude for about 5+ years i think.
Bruce, you are the wankiest person to grace these boards.
fvck off
before you do...what is your name?
anon?
What? I'm just saying. They dominate the local scene? Is that a bad thing? I wouldn't think it is.
Apologies then.
My name is Bruce.
I prefered the Dangerfields when they played Ska anyway, They got shit after they stopped playing Ska.
Whatever happened to that fruit with the womans hair?
Oh..
ops:
They were ska? That I didn't actually know.
There are no ska bands left on the local scene it seems.
erm, Skruff?
Bruce, you are a stirrer of the highest calibre. Give it a rest.
How is saying it seems there are no ska bands left on the scene stirring?
It's an observation. That's what it does seem like. There are punk bands, metal, alternative, indie and all the pop-punk bands seem defunct now too.
OMG SHUT UP BRUCE FORSYTHE THIS IS A BENEVOLENT DEMOCrACY GOT IT SUNSHINE?!?!?!
loL wTf?!?111
I think it's class, fair play to ya! Sounds like duke speical could get away with a few dance remixes ![]()

I left for the states, tank24 split up, mark went to live in spain, dave joined p45.
They got a record deal and toured the west coast of america. Then the deal later on went bad, one of them stayed behind in america to live and now me and dave are playin together again with a couple of other fellas, but it's just a monday night 'after school' sorta band.
We are looking to do another band , just a three piece, so we need a singer guitarist for some sorta quirky rocky punky type thing, i just havent been bothered to put it in the classifieds yet.
glad to hear more than 7 people actually enjoyed it....(that's including me and the other 3 members of P45)

Except Pocket Billiards and Stunt, both really good bands, PB are one of the better bands in Belfast.
this mix is downloadable here, for old time's sake ![]()
Bravo. More of these kind of remixes would be great. If anyone has any more would they mind posting links? Thanks.

I think you'll also find that all recordings by the Feline Dream are (P) http://www.corruptiverecords.co.uk and may be downloaded from iTunes UK.

Very pleased to be on this.
Polanski is named after Roman and is based on knife in the water and the infant of Prague if you are interested Mr Ed.
I listened to the mix - good work Eddie.
I think the reactions to Bruce were a bit knee-jerk there.
Mind if we just call everyone Bruce, to keep it simple?
Those guitar chords at 1min13 sound very like they're off Slayer's "Seasons in the abyss" Am I right?
nope, it's the tail end of P45's 'Bad Karma'
I did something similar to this again recently....

I second that, but definately more of the old mix-erounies please!
Any track by underline in that mixtape would have been brilliant!
